Street Mobster- To begin, this movie has a great beginning; it pulled me right into it.This is something not usually seen in movies of this type, so it makes it an unusual, yet pleasant experience. The action scenes are really great. Bunta Sugawara played his role great. Noboru Ando actually caught my interest.
I think Bunta Sugawara and Noboru Ando worked wonderful in Street Mobster. The great supporting cast includes Bunta Sugawara, Noboru Ando, Mayumi Nagisa, Asao Koike, Noboru Mitani.
All in all, I would rate this movie an 8.5/10. I would definitely watch this movie again.
I left some information, immages, and video previews of Street Mobster below.
Summary of Street Mobster: In the tradition of Takeshi Kitano, Sergio Leone, and George Romero, Japanese action director Kinji Fukasaku (Battle Royale I and II, The Yakuza Papers) brings to life Street Mobster, the story of a violent killer who will stop at nothing to satisfy his lust for blood. Released from prison, gangster Isamu Okita plans to start his own gang and begins a reign of terror using beatings, prostitution, stabbings, and murders to fight his way to the top of the gangland world. Street Mobster is a look into the dark realm of Japan's criminal underworld, where anything can be had for a price.
